The “Christmas Flavours of Trakai” event kicks off with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Trakai’s city centre on 29 November.
Enjoy a unique gastro-tour through Trakai’s main streets, featuring 15 gourmet stops offering festive treats from Lithuanian, Karaim, Tatar, Georgian, Italian, Japanese, and other world cuisines!
Special highlights include the Trakai Christmas Post at Karaimų St. 41, where you can send holiday greetings marked with a special Trakai stamp, and a chance to shop handmade gifts in the Traditional Crafts Centre shop.
Wander through sparkling boat displays and frosty decor celebrating Trakai’s role as host of the 2025 World Rowing Junior Championship, adding an extra touch of holiday cheer. Don’t miss this delightful winter escape – explore Trakai, savour the flavours, and create memories with loved ones.
